Predicto.com Offers Insight into Decision 2010

New York, NY (PRWEB) November 2, 2010

As the often rancorous midterm election season draws to a close, pundits from across the political spectrum are reading the tea leaves trying to predict the outcome of election day. Down to the last minute, the debate continues to be lively at Predicto Mobile, where members cast votes on a variety of topics via text messages. With over a million members and dozens of new hot-button polls each week, Predicto.com has established itself as a prime destination to reference statistics and public opinion. At last count, 52% of Predicto voters believe that the Republicans will hold the majority in the Senate.

This year has seen a lot of unprecedented political theater, including Glenn Becks much hyped rally in front of the Lincoln Memorial. Throughout election season, poll after poll has indicated that the electorate is moving increasingly towards the Republicans. This trend cast a lot of doubt on the success of the counter rally a few days ago by liberal comedians Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert, but Predicto voters correctly predicted a massive turn out for the Progressive gathering.

While it may be too soon to officially certify Tuesdays winners, Predictos poll results have been accurate in the past. Earlier this electoral season, 63% of Predicto voters anticipated Tea Party candidates making it to the official ballot. This shows a clear understanding of the new direction in Americas political landscape, as today dozens of Tea Party candidates can be found in House, Senate and Governors races throughout the nation. In Florida, for instance, Marco Rubio is the heavy favorite in the three-man Senate race, and in Nevada its possible that Sharron Angle could even unseat Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.

That said, Predicto voters are not anticipating great results for all Tea Party candidates. Christine O’Donnell has been in a much publicized race for Vice President Joe Bidens vacant Senate seat. The Delaware candidates campaign has been repeatedly distracted and taken off message when controversial and at times absurdist remarks from her past surfaced. Predicto voters believe she has too much to overcome 65% predict a victory for Democrat Chris Coons. One voter at Predicto.com may have summed it up best: I don’t think there is any way she will win.

Sarah Palin has certainly put her mark on this years elections. Through appearances, interviews, Facebook posts, Tweets and robocalls, she has been an active and vocal supporter of conservative candidates. The former Governor has kept herself in the spotlight as a contributor to the Fox News Channel and is set to star in Sarah Palin’s Alaska for the Discovery Channel. With an eye toward the next political season, 68% of Predicto voters believe that Sarah Palin is positioning herself for a 2012 Presidential bid.
