On Wednesday evening, Will Ferrell stopped by Conan O'Brien's talk show in character as Ron Burgundy to make an important announcement: Paramount Pictures has officially greenlit a sequel to the hugely popular 2004.
Will Ferrell and Paramount are planning to bring Ron Burgundy back to the screen with Ferrell on board to star in "Anchorman 2." Ferrell will also write the script with Adam McKay who will return to direct.
