The Billions Corporation and Constant Artists Touring Announce Merger

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) September 8, 2010

The Billions Corporation and Constant Artists Touring are pleased to announce they have merged and will begin new operations with principal offices in Chicago, Seattle and Los Angeles.

Chicago-headquartered Billions is in its twenty-third year of operation and now houses a total of ten agents. In addition to those working out of its principal offices, the company has agents located in Toronto ON, Portland OR and Bloomington IN. Among its exclusive clients are The Arcade Fire, Death Cab For Cutie, Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, Sufjan Stevens, Vampire Weekend, Bon Iver, Neko Case, Silversun Pickups, Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, Fleet Foxes and The Swell Season.

Los Angeles-based Constant Artists Touring was launched in 2007 by veteran agent and manager Ben Dickey. The eight-artist roster he brings to Billions includes Explosions in the Sky, Black Joe Lewis & the Honeybears, Okkervil River and Suckers.

“I’ve always respected the way Billions does business,” says Ben Dickey. “Their honest, artist-centric approach has consistently provided unique opportunities for their clients, and their commitment to developing quality, career artists is a priority we’ve always shared.” Billions President David T. Viecelli concurs, “Ben’s self-made reputation speaks for itself. His integrity and fresh, no-nonsense ethic mesh perfectly with the environment we’ve built here.”

The merger will be effective almost immediately with Dickey beginning work under the Billions banner on Monday, September 13. A portion of the existing Constant Artists office in the Wiltern Theatre building will become the new Los Angeles office of The Billions Corporation. As of September 13, Dickey can be reached for agency business at 312-997-9999 x8250 and via email at ben(at)billions.com.
