It has to do with with the streak itself.
Funny, I asked this question before the game and I only got a couple of nonsensical answweers. You guys are on the ball here,.

I predicted the Stanford win, and I predicted the Notre Dame win all those years ago as well. Just about every other prediction that I have made since then has been wrong. Once I even predicted that St Johns would win the NCAA tournament.
